Tell us a bit about yourself.
Well I’ll be 35 in March, I’m a mother to two wonderful hellion angel girls. My husband and I have been married for 7 years. I love to read and dance, and hang out with my family.
Have you always wanted to become an author?
Honestly yes. I’ve always written little stories here and there but never had the support to actually write a novel and go for it. Until now.
What was your inspiration for your current book/series?
A daydream I had for over a year. Lol. It got to the point where I was already talking to the main characters like there were real people.
What are you working on now?
Lexi’s Justice a Contempary Reverse Harem that will be releasing next month in April hopefully.
Do you have any quirks while writing?
Yes, don’t we all? I have to have music and I talk to my characters like they are sitting next to me. I also have been known to dance when stuck on a scene.
What are your hopes for the future?
Gosh so many. I hope to be able to do this full time, and make my family proud.
Do you have any advice for new authors about the publishing world?
Yes! If you are an indie author, one keep EVERYTHING repeated to your books. Mileage for conventions, electric bills, internet bills, paper costs, ext. You are a home business. And will need that for taxes. Lol
Also, write what is in your heart. Even if you think no-one will like it. If you are not being true to you the readers will be able to sense that and won’t like the book as much.
Don’t go into this thinking you’re going to make a ton of money out of the gate. Plan ahead, covers, editing and swag all cost money. Save as much money as you can before you even get done with your first book.
Do you have anything to say to your readers?
I love and appreciate you all so much! Thank you for taking a chance on my first book and allowing me to finally pursue my dream I’ve had since I was a little girl and first picked up a Nora Roberts books and wanted to be just like her.
Without you, none of us would be able to do what we love.
