When the three gather again and the heavens darken, the jagged edge shall tear and bleed death upon the world.
Emotion equals death. This is the truth Nijsha grows up with. Imprisoned behind the jagged edge, her body and mind have been honed into a deadly weapon. Secretly, she learns about the world beyond in her dreams. After breaking the one rule her mother has taught her, she has to flee her home, leaving her brother behind and in the clutches of their people’s creator. The last god, Adum.
Embarking on a journey that will test the very fabric of her being, Nijsha finds unexpected, and unwilling, help in an assassin, who is her only hope at reaching her mother’s people.
Navigating an alien world she has only ever dreamed about, Nijsha slowly learns who she truly is. A truth that could mean her end, and that of the world.
Fountain of Testosterone (Xtreme Manly Man Force of Intense Badassery Book One)
They’re going to need a lot more than infinity gallons of blood for this one…
Rick lives up to his mercenary name – Ultra Death Graveman Death Death Death (UDGD), while his former partner-turned-adversary, HTO, seeks revenge for a perceived slight that launches both men down a path that neither may return from.
The quest is noble. A crusade intended for the manliest of men, set against the backdrop of evildoers, villains, and cutthroats…and those are the good guys. Allegiances are never sure on the road to absolute testosterone driven power – just as UDGD forms a band of “fierce” followers, doubts are raised and trusts are questioned.
– A Swordsman that cannot stop screaming and lives off a diet of blood and meat. – A rough and mysterious fencer that… actually now that you mention it, fights a WHOLE LOT like HTO… – Some… Scientist dude that actually isn’t all that manly – come on now! – But a Robot Man – whoa, now that’s more like it! This guy’s totally manly! Cool scythe, too!…
The bottom line in this fantasy, sci-fi satire is ‘cover your own ass’ – death is coming, and it may be yours.
Obliterate your fears – jump into the wild depths of Subspace to discover just how manly men can become!
Disclaimer:
This novel is satirical in nature – allow me to spread the jam out on the toast for you on this one:
This novel contains mature, “badass” material and themes that some readers will find highly offensive but mostly cool. Expect bad words said by grownups, potty words, blood, guts, and more than one reference to sexual bits, actions, and/or orientations, most of which will likely be used in derogatory or otherwise offensive manners. Social insult and generally offensive behavior is part of the subtext of this story. Begin this text with the expectation that big angry men are running to where you are right now to hurt your feelings, because they are. This is intended for audiences of sixteen years or older, though every human develops at different paces of tolerance. Sexuality, Ability, Ethnicity, Culture, and more are all on the chopping block in order to provide the most appropriately accurate “Subspace” experience as possible.
This past weekend I participated in Fantasy Fest Rijswijk in the Netherlands with my publisher Butterdragons Publishing.
It was a learning experience for sure, but so much fun. The costumes was elaborate and full of imagination. The booths was colorful and tempting. I can’t wait to try it again, I just have to account for me sleeping at least two days after lol.
Mimi wakes to complete confusion. Her memories are vague at best, horrifyingly stark for the most part. Where is she? What happened to her? Most importantly, why do her memories feel like they are not entirely her own? Will trusting the man who claims he wants to help lead her to the path of truth? Or will her vulnerability and trust be her downfall?

Pleasegive a warm welcome to author Matthew J. Stott
Tell us a bit about yourself…
My name is Matthew and I’m an author residing in Illinois with my wife, two children, and pug. I’m a huge geek when it comes to all things fantasy and sci-fi and belong to a number of fandoms like Marvel, Star Wars, and Harry Potter, which are all huge inspirations for my stories.
Have you always wanted to become an author?
Since about the 4th grade in elementary school, when I was first taught about creative writing, I’ve gravitated toward storytelling. This turned into a passion in my later youth to become an author one day. I wrote short stories for fun over the years until I felt ready to pursue my first novel. So yes, for as long as I can remember.
What was your inspiration for your current book/series?
Like I mentioned before, my favorite movies and shows are a big inspiration for my writing. Specifically for my current book/series, I fell in love with a video game franchise called Kingdom Hearts where a kid and his friends leave their simple island life and travel to all these amazing worlds. I was always fascinated with the idea of portals and different realms and knew I wanted to craft a story around that concept, hence how “The Portal to Aardon” was born.
What are you working on now?
Right now I’m gearing up for the release of my debut novel, which is very exciting, but at the same time I’m working on the sequel as this series is set currently to be three books. This second book is going to take all the magic, action, and emotion of the first book and amp it up fifty notches.
Do you have any quirks while working?
I’m not sure if you’d call it a quirk, but I like to listen to various scores while I write. That is, instrumental music without lyrics, which I feel strikes the perfect balance of stimulating the brain without being too distracting. I also find motivation for my writing in commissioning artwork of my characters so I can see them come to life, as well as creating “mood boards” which are basically pictures/artwork that showcase the aesthetics and themes of your story.
What are your hopes for the future?
My hopes for the future are to 1) have my debut novel sell well, so that my sequel books will have the audience they deserve and 2) complete my series in a satisfying manner while continuing to grow my author presence across social media so that I can eventually afford to quit my day job and write stories for a living.
Do you have any advice for new authors about the publishing world?
My main advice would be to start networking and building a social media presence as soon as they can. The publishing industry can be a frustrating and overwhelming place, and having writer friends and people there to support you who understand what you’re going through is crucial to your success as an author.
Do you have anything to say to your followers?
I hope you’ll check out my YA fantasy novel, “The Portal to Aardon,” when it releases on Sept 13 and leave an honest review. I’ve worked so hard on this story and feel it will resonate strongly with readers. I’m absolutely grateful for all the friends, family, and fellow readers/writers who have supported me in any way along my journey. Thank you!
Princess of Stone (Fractured Queendom Trilogy Book One)
In a broken world the small Kingdom of Chardour fights for survival. Desperate to form alliances before neighboring kingdoms devour its riches and people, the princess – left alone after a tragic accident – strikes a deal at great personal cost.
Never meant to rule, Eliza has little time to learn, and even less time to accommodate her grief, if she wants to step up and lead her Kingdom.
Can she unify her divided people and keep them safe from the brewing war around them? Or will her lack of experience, coupled with her unorthodox lifestyle cut her reign short?
Half-angel Rose has always flown solo, and that’s just how she likes it. Trained since youth by her angelic father in the ways of battle, she flees the heartache of a broken childhood by hunting the nightmarish creatures that hide in the shadows. When she discovers a nefarious plot involving a mysterious witch and her parade of grisly horrors in an abandoned California town, she eagerly treks out to see what blood can be spilled, only to discover that a boy from her past–now grown to manhood–has sniffed out the same prize.
Skriker, the Halfling son of a demon and a stripper, is a supernatural hunter with nothing to tie him down. Between gore-splattered hunts slaying things that go bump in the night, he fills his days and nights with women, cage fights, and hard, fun living. But when the tattooed, Harley-riding bad boy makes a trip out to the rotting burg of Paradise Hill, he finds that he isn’t the only hunter to arrive on the scene…and she’s someone he was certain he’d never see again. Fierce and beautiful, Rose forces feelings he’d buried long ago to rise to the surface, drawing him into a partnership that neither ever expected.
As the unlikely pair battle their way through the ruins, Skriker and Rose must survive not only the vicious enemy pursuing them, but the reawakened–and forbidden–emotions that both were sure had expired…emotions that might make or break the fate of Creation itself.
