Tell us a bit about yourself

My name is Sadie Waters. I have written one reverse harem series and am working on my second, along with a shorter reverse harem story I’m hoping to get out soon. I love animals, going for hikes, and basically all sports.

Have you always wanted to become an author?

I have always written stories, but never anything book length until recently. I’m so excited about the opportunities self-publishers have now that we didn’t ten or fifteen years ago.

What was your inspiration for your current book/series?

My inspiration for my current series, the one I’m working on now, which is a paranormal romance story about an incubus is probably all of the ghost hunting shows I like to watch. And I just love the freedom of reverse harem books, so I read a lot of those.

What are you working on now?

I’m working on a three book paranormal romance series about an incubus named Ember who has three men in her harem, each with distinct powers. They can pass those powers along to Ember through intimate connection. When a human sees a demon, Ember and her team get involved to figure out if he’s in danger. It’s action-packed and a lot of fun.

Do you have any quirks while writing?

I don’t think I really have any quirks. I just need to be left alone for a while, particularly when I’m writing bedroom scenes.

What are your hopes for the future?

My hopes for the future are to continue to find new readers who enjoy my work, to continue to meet other authors with similar interests so we can work together, and to get my new series published this year.

Do you have any advice for new authors about the publishing world?

My advice would be to write what you want to write, give it your all, find a good editor, and don’t let negative reviews get to you.
