Tell us a bit about yourself

My name is Rihanna, but you would probably know me by RiRi or Mo. I’ve been with my husband Jon for 9 years and married for 5, we have 3 beautiful children together. Kyson 2, Paige 4, Maddie 5. My husband also has a 19yr old son named Jon jr. I enjoy being out doors being adventurous with my kids, baking and reading.

How long have you been a PA?

Since June so not very long.

Have you always wanted to be a PA?

Once I got plugged in with the indie community it did spark my interest.

What do you do as a PA?

I chat with my authors very regularly checking in with any projects they have going on, make sure they keep up on their word count goals, I admin the readers group, I post at least 3 interactive posts a week, i post announcements about upcoming events and projects, I help run the ARC and street teams. I make forms as needed. During an authors take over I will try and make sure I interact on posts and any giveaways I close out and pick winners. I also promote their books, I post pre order links and its live posts, teasers and covers.

Do you have any quirks while working?

I don’t think so.

What are your hopes for the future?

I just want to help these amazing authors get their amazing books around into the world.

Do you have any advice for new PA’s?

It’s a learning process, make sure you have a good relationship with your author(s) communication is hugs. An don’t be afraid to ask if you don’t know.
