🌟 Kell Inkston 🌟

Bio:

Just a quick heads up: I’m one serious werido, so be prepared for strange and mystical tales of whimsy and ultraviolence when you crack open one of my texts. Magical ponies and stupendous manslaughter go hand-in-hand, I tell you; it’s literary justice!

I have tons more coming in the months and years ahead, so if you’ve been enjoying my work, I’d encourage you to +Follow me to get regular updates on my activity. It won’t give you enough intel to triangulate my movements and capture me, but it will definitely tell you when the next book comes out. I think that would be for the best, because anyone who’s been kidnapped would tell you it’s not all that exciting.

I mean, unless you kidnap me and take me on an all-expenses-paid vacation to Disney World or something. I could deal with that I bet.

My hobbies and stuff include: running, birds, eating ramen noodles, spending time with my horrible dogs and super-cool loved ones, and writing stories that tear out people’s internal organs and force them to send me emotional emails.

🌟 J.A. Cummings 🌟

Bio:
J. A. Cummings was born in Flint, Michigan and was raised in a nearby town called Clio. Appropriately enough for someone growing up in a place named for the Muse of history, she developed a passion for reading and the past that continues to this day. Her love of poetry and storytelling quickly followed.

Her life has been one of numerous false starts, unexpected endings and fascinating side trips that lasted far too long. All of that chaos has informed her writing and improved her understanding of what it means to be human, both the sorrow and the glory.

She still resides in Michigan.

🌟 Michael Radcliffe 🌟

Bio:

An avid reader of fantasy and science fiction novels all of my life, I began writing The Guardian’s Apprentice in 2002 and did not finish until 2010. I live with my family in rural Kentucky, along with our six cats. When not acquiring more cats for our plan of world domination (cat armies are terribly hard to train), I enjoy spinning stories from the wisps of magic around me.

🌟 Sam Hall 🌟

Bio:
I grew up in that bit of Australia you saw in Crocodile Dundee. Yup, I have seen saltwater crocs in the wild, have held a koala (the 70s, when stressing wildlife for the kiddies was still cool) and have swatted an insane number of hand-sized spiders (they think I am their queen and are always wherever I am!). I have a gorgeous child with ASD, a super supportive, truly awesome partner and so, so many animals. Seriously, there is double the number of pets to people.

🌟 Erica Woods 🌟

Bio:
Erica Woods is an animal loving, coffee-addicted, chocoholic who lives in Norway with two fur babies of the purring variety and a hubs of the supporting, slightly growly variety.

When she’s not writing (which is seldom) she can be found clinging to her hubby like a koala bear (yes, she’s needy) with abook in one hand and some kind of snack (most likely chocolate)
in the other.

Besides being crazy about animals and obsessed with all things romance, Erica likes to be near the ocean, draw, fantasize about
life on foreign planets, and tease her hubby until he chases her around the house while she squeals.

Fun times.

🌟 Gene Stiles 🌟

Bio:
International author, Gene Stiles, a Michigan native, moved to Simi Valley, CA in 1963. His first publication was at age eleven when the Los Angles Daily News (then the Valley News and Green Sheet) and the L.A. Times both wrote articles on a young poet selling his work to buy a Mother’s Day present.

An avid researcher, his interests include mythology, world religions, archeology, geology, paleontology, lost civilizations, science fiction and the 2012 phenomenon which are the basis for his Colony Series of novels, Colony – Atlantean, Colony – Neander, Colony – Bloodkin, Colony – Seeds of War, Colony – Nephilim and the upcoming Colony – Olympian.

Growing up an outcast in his family, he lived much of the story in his first novel, To Walk the Winding Road – A Story Of Abuse And Survival.

At age seventeen, he started a three-state wide non-profit organization called Teens, Inc in the hopes of helping other troubled teens like himself. As an adult, he continued his devotion to kids by opening teen-oriented businesses including two arcades and three teen nightclubs – which are the sources for his book Phenomenon – The Xenon West Story.

He is also a martial artist and major karaoke junkie.

He lives in Missouri on the land he and his late wife, Dianne, cleared together and in the house the two built alone and with their own two hands. She promoted him, believed in him and without whose inspiration none of his books would ever have been printed.

Author Melissa Adams #interview

Please give a warm welcome to author Melissa Adams

Tell us a bit about yourself.

I was born in Italy. I’m half English half Italian and grew up between the two countries. So that means I am bilingual with Italian.
I am a flight attendant by profession and I have lived in the UK, Italy, Germany and the US. I have an American husband who followed me back to Europe about five years ago when we decided to settle down permanently in the UK.
When and I don’t read and write, I love to cook, swim and take long walks with my two dogs.
I’m obsessed with 80s and 90s movies and music and I am especially fond of teen movies.
In fact, I mostly write new adult novels, probably because I still feel young at heart and I am fascinated with the endless possibilities one has during those years Γ¨, even though obviously I wish I knew then what I know now.

Have you always wanted to become an author?

I wrote my first novel when I was thirteen. It was a spy story called Intrigues and Contrabands. I even wrote a thriller when I was sixteen and then we made a movie out of it with my friends that summer. (All before digital cameras). So yeah, I have always wanted to write but I only took the plunge to do it seriously last summer. I am a flight attendant when I don’t write.

What was your inspiration for your current book/series?

The inspiration was my summer’s at summer camp aa teen. An old boyfriend reached out to me last summer when he needed to talk. He was my first kiss and we reminisced a little via Facebook and at the time we had been caught in a little love triangle but he and the other guy were amazing to me and we have been friends for years to this day. So I started writing about it and a few weeks later, I had written the first book of Lake Emerald Chronicles: The First Summer. Obviously the whole story is made up but I took inspiration from those summers at camp…

What are you working on now?

I’m working on a new RH series. It’s my first paranormal series. It’s about witches but it has got a totally different angle than anything you traditionally read. The Title of the series is Dreams and book 1 is Dreaming Of You

Do you have any quirks while writing?

I write whenever I can and since I still fly full time, I sometimes have to do it in the crew room (when a flight is delayed). So I got used to being asked what I’m doing by the pilots (who always then proceed to ask me to read them a naughty scene, they can’t help it) or if I’m home, I write with my two Yorkshire terriers on my lap. I have a slight obsession with Yorkshire terriers and Norse gods

What are your hopes for the future?

My hopes for the future are to possibly fly only part time (hopefully within the next couple of years) and maybe one day write full time. But I only published my first book at the end of last summer, so I am still trying to get people to know my name and my work.

Do you have any advice for new authors about the publishing world?

My advice is to write what you are comfortable with and don’t rush it, don’t push publish unless you know you wrote the story you wanted. And also, don’t do it like me. I pressed publish and I only created an author profile a week later. It’s smarter to make connections in the Facebook groups and so on before hand. I published and no one knew who I was. It’s slowly changing but I wish I had thought ahead.

Do you have anything to say to your readers?

What I say to my Readers is that my stories are about feelings and love and real life (Reverse Harem style). I try to create a world for you and show you the story as it unfolds in my mind, give you a picture, like a movie. I want you to feel every look, every kiss, every dilemma. And I like to put a little mystery twist in my stories too. So if I have done that for you, I have done what I set out for. And I love when I get messages from people who have read my books and have questions or want to talk about them.
