Tell us a bit about yourself

I’m a a relevantly new reverse harem indie author. I am a mom, I work full time and I’m married. I love all animals and am basically a chameleon myself. I get along with everyone and I don’t have just one style. Though the pink hair is my jam.

Have you always wanted to become an author?

I haven’t wanted to be one necessarily. I wrote a lot in school and lost a novel I had been working on through my moms divorce my senior year of high school. I wrote a ton on poems and sonnets but never did anything with them. Fast forward 12 years later and here we are!

What was your inspiration for your current book/series?

I’ve always had an obsession with fire and the paranormal. My inspiration came from seeing other indie authors doing their own thing and loving it. I was looking for a creative outlet so I started writing down my dreams I was having. I have a lot of vivid dreams! So I have loads of ideas for the future.

What are you working on now?

I’ve remastered my first book along with my rebrand to show what the book really means to me. Poured my heart into it even harder than I did before. So it will be published on 2/14/20.
I have three books planned an they should all be out before May 2020. Then I have my co-write, which I’m stoked about!

Do you have any quirks while writing?

I have to be in the zone to get a good flow going. Headphones and a good dubstep song and I’m on it! It’s hard to get a good roll going when your being mauled by tiny humans.

What are your hopes for the future?

Like any author I want my works to be read and let word of mouth catch fire. Of course there’s the long stretch of getting it on Netflix or even be picked up by a publishing house. That’s extremely intimidating and exciting to think about.

Do you have any advice for new authors about the publishing world?

Write it. Worry about the rest later. It’s easy to be distracted by all of the other things to do with marketing and promotions. Words can get lost with behind the scene work. Just write.
