Please give a warm welcome to

Tell us a bit about yourself

I’m a wandering soul currently living in North Carolina with my husband and two kooky cats. When I’m not writing or reading, I’m playing PC games.

Have you always wanted to become an author?

Not always directly. When I was growing up I loved writing but the author career wasn’t something I considered. My family wasn’t unsupportive of creative pursuits, but there was a lot of pressure to not become a starving artist of any sort. Eventually I hit the point where I realized I’d live in a van if it meant doing what I loved.

°

What was your inspiration for your current book/series?

I find inspiration just about everywhere. If I read something good or bad, if I feel like there’s a story that isn’t being told, or if I feel that I could tell it better, that’s how I usually get started.

What are you working on now?

I’m currently working on two ongoing series projects and something different and new on the side. My primary focus is my Night Wolves series, which focuses on wolf shifter packs through the States. Second is my Otherworld Shifters series, which is being publish in the world of Milly Taiden’s Paranormal Dating Agency. My side project is a dark romance that I’m hoping *fingers crossed* to get out this year. My next release is Tough Shift, a paranormal reverse harem romance, Otherworld Shifters #6.

Do you have any quirks while writing?
Not that I can think of. I work from hold so it’s just me and the cats. If they’ve noticed any quirks, they haven’t said anything yet.

What are your hopes for the future?

I’m happy to keep moving forward. Like most authors, I have countless stories to tell and never feel like I’ll have time to tell them all. I hope to tell as many as possible.

°

Do you have any advice for new authors about the publishing world?

Ask endless questions but always question the answers. I made avoidable mistakes in my first year of publishing, and they took a lot of time and effort to correct. Some people can dive in, some need to wade a bit. Figure out which you are and don’t be pressured to do something you aren’t ready for. If in doubt, find reliable author buddies to help you decide when is the best time to take the plunge. Writing is the easy part. Publishing is what will test your mettle.

Do you have anything to say to your readers?

Thank you! I know there are millions of books out there, so when a reader finds mine and enjoys it, I want to shoot off fireworks. Kind words from readers are truly a gift. And I’m always happy to talk to readers and get honest feedback.
