Tell us a bit about yourself

My name is Erin and I live in the UK with my husband. I’m always reading, writing or napping, and have an obsession with cake and other baked goods! I write RH fantasy and paranormal romance, and also co-write with K.A Knight and Loxley Savage.

What has happened work wise since our last interview?

Since our last interview I’m now writing full time! I used to work part-time in health care, but last year in July, I quit and I’m now a full time author.

What was your inspiration for your current book/series?

Fires of the Fae came about as I was finishing my War and Deceit series (fantasy RH). Although the character’s story arc came to an end, I knew that I wasn’t ready to let this world go yet.

What are you working on now?

I’m currently working on finishing up A Lady of Embers

Do you have any quirks while working?

I often speed through the dialogue, jotting down the words and then coming back and filling in the actions and the ‘he said’ ‘she said’ parts. I have a very short memory, and I can almost visualise the scenes, so I have to jot it down quickly!

What are your hopes for the future?

Ooh, that’s a deep question that I don’t have an answer for! Instead I can tell you what I’m looking forward too? I can’t wait for book signings to start again and meet some of my readers.

What have you learned about publishing since our first interview?

Oh gosh. I feel like I learn something new everyday! I’ve learnt it can be a pretty harsh place, and very isolating. However, if you can get a good author tribe with other indie authors and amazing readers, it can also be so rewarding.

Do you have anything to say to your followers?
