When a desperate Klan murders another in their quest for a mate, they win me and imprison me in their home. Treated worse than vermin, my life is meaningless and I begin to lose hope…
Will I ever find mates that will take care of me or will I forever remain a captive in the hands of this corrupted Klan?

Life doesn’t always work out the way you want. You buy into the whole “American Dream”- get married, buy a house, get a dog- but you’re never guaranteed things will end up all sunshine, roses, and magical unicorn dicks.
Take me, for example. I’m thirty, own a cute little bungalow, married to the guy I love, and I get to be my own boss with my best friend. Everything is coming up Lorelai. Until it isn’t. My fifth anniversary sets things in motion I never could’ve anticipated.
Now I see dead people. No, not like that movie. I mean I see them die. Apparently that’s my super power now. Yay.
The only good thing that’s come of losing my old life? The four supes I work with to help solve bizarre murders. They’re helping me navigate this new world and I foresee a lot of sexual tension in my future. Oh, and a lot of really bad nightmares, but I guess that’s just part of the package.
*This is a reverse harem romance meant for readers 18 and older. It is a slow burn with high heat.

Death is an insurmountable fact. We all will experience it at some point. The question is what happens after. Where does the soul go?
Well, it goes to me. Or someone like me, at least. My name is Zella Healani. I’m a Grim Reaper. Not the kind most think of when they picture the old skeleton guy either. Nope. I’m young, have no swinging stick thing, and am usually swimming with some kind of mind-altering substance.
Don’t let that deter you, though. Not that you actually could. Like it or not, I’ll pull your soul free from your husk and ferry it back to the big soul soup we all start from. You get a new life, and I get a hit of euphoria so pure, it’s addicting. Oh, and some additional powers here and there.
But what if someone could stop the Grims from coming for you? And how exactly am I supposed to save a whole world full of souls when no one believes me? That, my new friend, is exactly what I’m going to tell you because somehow, I’ll find my way back to the desolate world I stumbled upon. My only problem? I’ll have to do it while controlling my monster, dealing with three new babysitters, and committing crimes that might just get me thrown into the soul soup, too.
Have a seat and open the pages to discover what happens when you mix evil, forgotten souls, and one screwed-up Reaper together.
Forgotten Essence is the first in a fantasy RH with sci-fi aspects series. She doesn’t choose between the men. It contains potentially triggering content. This book is not meant for those below age 18 and may not be suitable for everyone.

Unfortunately, humans play by different rules here, and magic isn’t celebrated. It’s feared. Now a single act of kindness has cost my freedom once again. We might all be mad at this reform school, but I’m the maddest, and I have the King of Hearts with me to prove it. I also have two sexy twin brothers I thought were dead long ago and they’re hell-bent on giving me a happily ever after. Little do they know that I’m a villain now, and villains don’t often get happy endings…

Hey there, I’m a book and movie nerd from small town Tennessee. I can be found on the daily attached to a computer of some sort talking to my imaginary friends, but I also like visiting new places with the hubs, two kiddos, and my fur baby.
Have you always wanted to become an author?
I never had the confidence to think I could ever write a book that someone would read and actually like. I’ve always loved both reading and writing, though, so I guess I was hopeful.
What was your inspiration for your current book/series?
My next book set to publish is a zombie RH co-write with Mary Martel and it all came about because we both wanted a main character full of sass who knew how to kickass.
What are you working on now?
I’m currently working on Zombie Queen as well as a sequel to another co-authored series and the start of an entire brand new saga coming 2020.
Do you have any quirks while writing?
Music. I have to have music because I get easily distracted if there’s a lot going on around me.
What are your hopes for the future?
The biggest thing on my hopes for the future list is to finish everything I have planned from now until the end of 2021. #Goals and all that jazz.
Do you have any advice for new authors about the publishing world?
1) Don’t ever give up. If you have the itch to write, then do it! No matter what anyone says. No matter how bad the first reviews are. Keep at it because we all have new things we can learn.
2) Don’t be afraid to ask for advice. Authors are people too and have worn those beginner shoes. Besides, most of us don’t bite…hard.
Do you have anything to say to your readers?
I love my readers. Without you guys, I couldn’t do what I love and that makes me eternally grateful for every last one of you!
