Tell us a bit about yourself

Hey there, I’m a book and movie nerd from small town Tennessee. I can be found on the daily attached to a computer of some sort talking to my imaginary friends, but I also like visiting new places with the hubs, two kiddos, and my fur baby.

Have you always wanted to become an author?

I never had the confidence to think I could ever write a book that someone would read and actually like. I’ve always loved both reading and writing, though, so I guess I was hopeful.

°

°

What was your inspiration for your current book/series?

My next book set to publish is a zombie RH co-write with Mary Martel and it all came about because we both wanted a main character full of sass who knew how to kickass.

°

°

What are you working on now?

I’m currently working on Zombie Queen as well as a sequel to another co-authored series and the start of an entire brand new saga coming 2020.

°

°

Do you have any quirks while writing?

Music. I have to have music because I get easily distracted if there’s a lot going on around me.

°

°

What are your hopes for the future?

The biggest thing on my hopes for the future list is to finish everything I have planned from now until the end of 2021. #Goals and all that jazz.

Do you have any advice for new authors about the publishing world?

1) Don’t ever give up. If you have the itch to write, then do it! No matter what anyone says. No matter how bad the first reviews are. Keep at it because we all have new things we can learn.

2) Don’t be afraid to ask for advice. Authors are people too and have worn those beginner shoes. Besides, most of us don’t bite…hard.

Do you have anything to say to your readers?

I love my readers. Without you guys, I couldn’t do what I love and that makes me eternally grateful for every last one of you!
