Tell us a bit about yourself

Well, my name is Sara. I’m a Mom of three grown children, I’m and Author and a PA. My first published work was almost fourteen years ago. With more to come.
I’ve been a PA for almost a year.

Have you always wanted to be a PA?

Never even considered it until I had been hanging in a group of an Author i had come to respect. I had always had fun and then the opportunity came about and here I am.

What do you do as a PA?

These things vary, but schedules, editing, events, brainstorming, all aspects of admin. But also can’t leave out that we have an amazing admin team that helps as well and couldn’t imagine this job with out them.

Do you have any quirks while working?

I’m sure I do but nothing that stands out. Mostly certain things being done certain way. But again as a team we do this together.

What are your hopes for the future?

To see that my Author successfully succeeds as my Author will do the same for me. We all write and we all support each other. Its amazing!

Do you have any advice for new PA’s?

Insist on an open communication with your Authors. No lies no hold backs. A PA can not truly do their job well if their Author is not forthcoming with information needed and promptly. Create a bond, a good friendship even.

Are you available for new work or booked solid.

No, I’m committed to my work where I am. Totally booked. Two many hands in the pot creates a chaos not needed.
