Author Tabatha Stephenson #interview

Please give a warm welcome to Tabatha Stephenson

Tell us a bit about yourself…

I’m an Army Brat from the Cold War era and grew up to join the service myself, then worked for the DoD before becoming a full-time SAHM.

Have you always wanted to become an author?

Yes. I first wrote on blank pieces of papers and in notebooks my parents got me. I also wanted to become a soldier, and an astronaut, and…

What was your inspiration for your current book/series?

I’ve always wondered what it would be like to have magic. As my pen name has probably tipped you off, I’m a huge fan of Bewitched, as well as I Dream of Jeannie. So, witches and genies!

What are you working on now?

The next book in my genie romance.

Do you have any quirks while working?

Do you have any quirks while working? I listen to music while wearing headphones. Recently, it’s been slack key guitar.

What are your hopes for the future?

I have a couple sci fi RHs coming out next year. Vampire aliens in one, and a Starfleet Academy meets Babylon 5 academy romance  for another, and also an UF one with a demi goddess working for a supernatural version of the FBI.

Do you have any advice for new authors about the publishing world?

Read a lot of what you wish to write, listen to what readers want (and pay attention to what the market shows you they genuinely want), and make sure your cover is to market as is your story.

Do you have anything to say to your followers?

I love you guys and appreciate all of the support!
