Please give a warm welcome to author E.L. Rose

Tell us a bit about yourself
I am a mommy of five children and four fur babies. We are an active duty military family. I have a large family who I adore with all my heart and am thankful for everyday. I have parents that fully support my work and cheer me on everyday. I am married to my best friend who also supports what I do. For fun, I like to camp, hike, fish. I also do photography on the side, another passion of mine.

Have you always wanted to become an author?
I have always wanted to be an author, but because of my ADHD I never thought I could become one. It has been a learning curve for me.
What was your inspiration for your current book/series?
I love shifters and I love women who learn to love, and trust again. Honey is one who has been so hurt by someone she thought was supposed to love her. I love how through the book she heals and trusts again. I like showing people it is possible, even in bad situations to still have a good heart and learn to love again.

What are you working on now?
I am working on a few different WIP, the main one is actually a Rockstar Harem and will be announced soon.
Do you have any quirks while working?
Yes, while writing I have a book bible that I use to write down different plot ideas, things to remember when writing, and any new book ideas, but it basically holds all my thoughts on my books and characters, and I have to have character in my head and their names before I even begin to write.

What are your hopes for the future?
The hope for my future is to continue to write books, enough to where people get excited to know that I am coming out with another book. I want to be a very involved author, so people can reach out to me and ask me questions, or just to chat. I want to create books that make lasting impressions on readers, and eventually I want to create a whole world.

Do you have any advice for new authors about the publishing world?
For Authors coming up, my biggest advice is to not rush. Let your stories and characters come to you. If you get discouraged, take some time to yourself and then come back to what you were working on. If an idea pops up into your head, write it down, don’t push it back to work on just one WIP. You don’t want to miss an idea just because you are already working on something. Overall have fun, write what speaks to you, don’t try and conform to what others think you should be writing. Make friends, having true friends in the author community is something irreplaceable and I highly suggest making some ones who you can always ask for help and will give you honest opinions.

Do you have anything to say to your followers?
To my readers, I hope my books make you laugh and cry like they made me as I wrote them, I hope you fall in love with the characters like I do. I hope my books take you out of your own head for a while and into mine. I hope that you love the books so much that you are bursting at the seams to read the next book.
For my readers, every book is a journey and I hope you follow along this path with me. Without all of you, this would not be possible.
