Please give a warm welcome to

Tell us a bit about yourself…
I am a native Floridian but you’d never guess it by my pale ginger complexion! I am engaged and getting married in August, 2020. I have a full-time adult job as a property manager of rentals but I hope to become a full time author within the next few years! I have two fur babies, a ginger kitty named “MeowMeow” (My fiance named her) and a staffordshire pitbull named “Winrey”.
Have you always wanted to become an author?
I have always had a passion for reading, but honestly never thought I had it in me to write a book! The fear of putting out something that just flopped is what stopped me from doing it prior to now. It has been a struggle to push through that mentality of not feeling as if my work is good enough, while completing my first book.

What was your inspiration for your current book/series?
I don’t even know where any of my ideas come from! I was sitting on my couch one day when the idea for Desolation struck me, so I began typing out a small outline in the notes app on my iPhone. It only grew from there and before I knew it, I had wayyyy too many notes to keep up with and had to transfer it to a google doc. The characters and the world had my mind in their clutches and they wouldn’t let go!
What are you working on now?
Book two, “Detonate” in my Darkness Rising Series! I also have a pending co-write on the side.
Do you have any quirks while working?
I have to be listening to music in the background and the genre changes as my scenes do! I feel so much inspiration while I write from the emotions certain songs give me.

What are your hopes for the future?
To become a full time author by the time I’m ready to start having kids!
Do you have any advice for new authors about the publishing world?
I’m still quite new myself, but I would absolutely say, make sure you are surrounding yourself with people who want you to genuinely succeed. You will doubt yourself enough, without having the whispers of negative people in your ear.
Do you have anything to say to your followers?
I’m not sure I have many followers yet, but thank you to everyone who has supported me on my journey of putting the voices in my head onto paper! It’s been a whirlwind, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
