Last Chance?
Some might say that, but for me it’s a new beginning.

On the run from an overbearing Alpha that’s decided to trade me for an alliance, I travel across the country in search of a place to hide. I will not be sold.

As luck would have it, I stumble upon my new forever home. A beacon in the night, the Last Chance Diner calls me into it’s sanctuary. The Not-A-Pack that run the restaurant reluctantly take me in, and from there everything about my life changes.

Just when I think I’ve outrun my former life, Thane’s enforcer finds me. I’m forced to make a split second decision that shatters my newfound freedom. Every move I make seems to lead me into a new danger and now I’ve got four mates that I’m dragging with me into the melee.

Amidst the chaos, a prophecy comes to light and hope blooms bright. As Moon Born, I charge forward with the intent to reclaim my life, and solidify my mate bonds. With three Sisters of the Moon and my four mates at my side, I feel invincible.

Will my new powers be enough to break the chains of my betrothal, or is Thane’s dominance too great to overcome? Dark magic and outdated pack law are both working against me.

I’m determined to win and destined to lead a new era.
‘A great leader will fall,
His loss will be her gain.
And so shall the Moon Born rise.’

This is a #whychoose romance meaning the FMC will not choose between her love interests. Last Chance Diner does contain darker themes as well as Noncon. The Noncon is not performed by members of the harem. This book is intended for 18+ due to sexual content and graphic language.

The Lost by @K_AKnight #newrelease

The Lost (Their Champion Companion Novel Book 2) by K.A. Knight

After I was betrayed and left for dead in the sands of the wasteland, I found a new home—a sanctuary of lost souls like me. With the help of others, I rebuilt myself until I was stronger than before, but when word comes that my old home, Paradise, has fallen, I have a choice to make.

Leave my new home, my new life and friends, and ride to the rescue of the very people who betrayed me…or stay?

The decision isn’t an easy one, but three men will stand by my side either way. It seems fate has its eyes on me and when my past, present, and future collide, will I be left heartbroken or will they reassemble the damaged, tattered pieces of me?

Three men, one I loved as child, one as teenager, and the other as a woman…the question is, can I still love them all? Is my heart big enough?

But this isn’t just a love story, oh no. This is a tale of revenge and queens.

When the bloodshed and death arrive and war erupts, who will remain beside me?

*18+ Reverse Harem Romance. Warning this book contains scenes and references of abuse/assault that some readers may find triggering. Along with graphic sex scenes and violence*

Tell us a bit about yourself

I live in the Pacific Northwest in the United States of America, with my beer brewing husband, frost giant toddler, and two senior dogs. I’m an excitable introvert, which means if you put enough sugar in me, I’ll extrovert until I hit a wall and crash. I’ve got an eclectic background, from retail to pastry chef to traditional publishing, I’m like a butterfly who wants all the pretty flowers. Now I’m solidly an author and loving it. I squeeze in hiking on my days off (what are days off?) and I love to travel to new places. I’m pretty candid and I typo a lot. Like, so much.

Book one is permanently free on Amazon

Have you always wanted to become an author?

The first story I remember writing was in second grade with my teacher Mrs. Will. It was totally original–about these three pigs who lived in houses and had to defend themselves against a bad wolf. Yeah, I was totally writing fanfiction of Three Little Pigs. So, yes, I’ve always wanted to be an author—as well as an astronaut zoologist on the moon, still working on that one though.

What was your inspiration for your current book/series?

I’ve got three series in the works but for my most recent release, Raven’s Flight, I adore epic fantasy. Epic fantasy is the genre that holds my heart and I have a ton of stories waiting to be told. There’s something about a new original world with magic and romance that makes me squeal and read for days. It turns out I’ll write for days as well! I love resilient characters who go through difficult times and have to struggle with their choices in novels, so I wanted to write that.

What are you working on now?

I’ve just wrapped up book one in my The Raven and Crown series, and book two isn’t out until later 2020. Which means I’m currently working on Obsession and Fawn. Obsession is a dark bully/villain reverse harem with Mary Wollstonecraft, Frankenstein, Van Helsing, and Jekyll. It’s season one Supernatural combined with Sherlock—scary, sexy, smart. My other project, Fawn, is a co-written dark mafia shifter reverse harem (say that five times fast!). It’s so, so damn fun and Elaina Jadin and I are having a ton of fun with it.

Do you have any quirks while working?

I have to have headphones on. Something about putting headphones on tells my brain it’s “go time.” I also like to have snacks, so I’m trying to lean closer to healthy snacks. Which isn’t really working because the husband just brought home three boxes of my favorite Girl Scout Cookies. I listen to music, but it can’t have any audio or be instrumental covers of familiar songs because it’ll distract me. I try to listen to music that matches the tone of the book or scene I’m working on. I’ve got a fantasy playlist, a romantic playlist, and a suspense playlist.

What are your hopes for the future?

I mean, other than the world not dying? I’m hoping to publish nine books this year, or three trilogies. It all depends on life and how well each book is received. I’d love to become a NYT Best Seller, but I’m not holding my breath. I just want to keep writing the stories I love.

Do you have any advice for new authors about the publishing world?

This job is hard. I’ve been doing it for years. If you want to make this your career, you have to treat it like a job. You can’t expect to put a little bit of effort in and see the same success your favorite authors are having. You can tell the stories you have inside of you and you can make it into a career, but it’s going to take more than just writing a book and that’s something a lot of new authors don’t really understand.

Do you have anything to say to your followers?

I love you all! Tell everyone you know to read my books. Seriously. Stalk them until they do. Leave post-it notes everywhere. Tweet them every hour. Email them daily. Okay, don’t go that extreme. Probably. I’m not responsible for your fanatics! But seriously–I prioritize series based on interest and preorders. If you want one book series sooner than another, vote by preordering! And don’t forget to review the books you read, even if it’s the minimum word count that Amazon requires. Reviews are our bread and butter.

Author Gina Manis #interview

Please give a warm welcome to

Tell us a bit about yourself

I live in the south, where I have a small farm. I have been married for eighteen years, and we have four kids (two teenage boys and two little girls).  I love anything that has to do with art. I like to paint and draw, take pictures, gardening and of course writing.

Have you always wanted to become an author?

I always wanted to be but never thought that I could. I had so many problems in language and reading when I was young. I told myself stories every night as I went to sleep. My imagination has always had so much potential, and so when I decided to give it a try, the words have been flowing ever since.

What was your inspiration for your current book/series?

I was writing another series and building this world and this legend kept coming up. I decided to write it in its own series and The Water Princess was born. At that time, also, I had discovered reverse harem and wanted to give it a try. Reverse harems, I think, are harder to write because you have to find a connection with many characters. It has been a challenge, but I have so much enjoyed it.

What are you working on now?

I’m actually working on that other series that got me unto The Water Princess. It is written a few hundred years in the future and the world has changed. The elementals have died out and now you have the Elemental Mages. There will be four mages with standalone stories, and each of them will have to choose their kings. They will intertwine in places for one overall story for those who enjoy longer series.

Do you have any quirks while working?

I don’t really but I do often work around chaos. I have a large family, and people are always around. I do try and do most of my writing in the night and have nodded off while writing.

What are your hopes for the future?

I always have a goal and not just one but many. I am a dreamer. Writing will keep me busy for a few more years, and then I plan to slow down a bit. I have several series I am working on publishing now and a few more I am looking to write.

Do you have any advice for new authors about the publishing world?

To make friends with others in the industry. You can’t do it alone, and it is always great when you have someone to turn to and ask questions. It also makes you feel good when you can help someone else.

Do you have anything to say to your followers?

Thank you for reading and for giving me a chance. I am a very outgoing person and would love to chat with anyone who would like. I always say I am an open book and you can ask me anything. I would also say that I like to surprise people so you can expect that from me in the future. I have some really great books coming out soon, and I think you are all going to like it.

Author S.A. Mackenzie #interview

Please give a warm welcome to

Tell us a bit about yourself

I’m S.A. Mackenzie, the S is for Sara. I am a mom to a one year old little rascal and a furbaby mom to a silly rabbit. I’m married to a big ol’ bearded man who likes to act tough but is really a huge softy. I was born and raised in Ontario, Canada. I love to meet people but I also would rather curl up in my room reading a book by myself. I’ve always had an imagination that was far bigger than anyone else I knew. I would lay in bed and just day dream different worlds and lives that I wanted to live.

Saintly Virtues is on Amazon for preorder for $2.99! On March 9th at release the price will go up to $3.99

Have you always wanted to become an author?

Not really. I had thought about it from time to time since my imagination is always getting away from me but I always had an excuse about why I couldn’t or shouldn’t do it. It took having a baby and losing myself in being a mom before I looked up one day and realized that it was something I needed to do. I needed to write my stories and give myself an identity outside of being a mom. My excuses no longer seemed relevant when I realized that nothing was holding me back but myself.

What was your inspiration for your current book/series?

The Seven Sins and Saints series was first inspired by the song Hallelujah. I became obsessed with the story in the lyrics and listened to every version I could find. The song always made me think of Lucifer and his fall from grace, especially the part with the broken throne, the cut hair and being forced to say Hallelujah. It made Lilith a villain in my head and the story blossomed from there. I dreamed about it for weeks and then it came to life on my computer.

What are you working on now?

I have book two to Saintly Virtues in the works, so Belle and her Saints are getting ready for more steamy sex and world saving. I also have a dark contemporary RH about finding love after deep loss and building yourself up when the world is out to make you a victim that is in the works. I’m also playing around with a novella about Lucifer for a prequel to Saintly Virtues but it’s been put on the back burner for now.

Do you have any quirks while working?

I’m very musically driven so depending on the scene, book or character I’m working on I have specific music I will listen to. It gets me in the right mood and the words flow easier.

What are your hopes for the future?

I really just hope to get my stories out there and have people find the same love and enjoyment from these worlds that I do. I don’t necessarily need to be an international bestseller or anything like that. If I can touch or move even one person with my writing then I’m happy. Books have always meant so much to me, they brought me out of depression or anxiety attacks and if I can even make someone laugh when they’re down or give them a world they want to disappear into then I’m winning. That’s what I want to do.

Do you have any advice for new authors about the publishing world?

Write your story how you want it. If it sucks well at least you have something, you can work with it. Look into formatting steps before you write the manuscript so that you can get the basics like specific indenting and line spacing done ahead of time. Changing your entire manuscript formatting sucks hard. It’s also never too early to start building a name for yourself. You don’t have to wait to have a book released, do it early so that you have someone to release your book to. Last, it’s okay to ask for help, whether that’s a PA, some Alpha Readers, whoever. You don’t need to struggle by yourself.

Do you have anything to say to your followers?

I appreciate every single one of you. I celebrate every time someone joins my group or follows my Instagram. It means more to me than you can imagine just knowing that someone is out there and I’m not just talking to myself, haha. I love when you guys chat with me and I love hearing everything you have to say. Without you guys, authors would be weirdos writing stories because the voices tell them to and then hanging them on our walls as art. The readers are the ones who make us seem not so crazy.

Author Cilla Raven #interview

Please give a warm welcome to

Tell us a bit about yourself

I’m Cilla Raven, an indie author that published my first book back in July of 2019 and just launched the preorder for book 2 in that series about 2 weeks ago. When I’m not writing, I’m a homeschooling mother of 5 who’s been married for 15 short years, and all of them mean everything to me. I obsessively read anything I can get my hands on and write basically anything that pops in my head. However, my favorite genres to read and write are fantasy and paranormal reverse harem romances. Some other weird facts about me: if I could live in shorts, tank tops, and flip flops, I would; I don’t think there’s any such thing as too many tattoos (I have 6 so far); good music and food are essential elements for keeping me happy, and I absolutely love naps.

Have you always wanted to become an author?

I’ve always written when I could, but the idea of becoming an author was never really on the table until my husband pushed me toward it. He’d read some of my writing before and always said I could do well as an author, but I’m prone to self-doubt on a large scale, so for the longest time, I ignored his suggestions. Then, one day I just got it in my head that even if no one read what I wrote, I’d enjoy the writing, so what harm could it do? Publishing my first book was one hell of a task (well, many, many tasks, lol), but I loved every minute of it, and in doing so, I realized that being an author was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

What was your inspiration for your current book/series?

To be real, I’ve got a lot of demons in my closet. Some of which are extremely hard to deal with. My first book tackles some of those demons, as well as explores a fantasy I can only dream about in real life. It was inspired by what I wanted to read, my past, my desires, and let me imagine for a while what it would be like to live in a world with magic. Honestly, all of my stories are like this, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

What are you working on now?

Right now, I’m working on finishing up book 2 in my Beholden to Balance Series, and starting a whole different series as well. I’ve got some big plans for 2020! Releasing book 2 is the top priority, followed by the surprise series I’m working on, and finally wrapping up the year with Beholden to Balance book 3’s release in December. So, a total of like 6 books I’m planning for the year… whew, that seems like a lot when I write it out, haha.

Do you have any quirks while writing?

Yep. I have twinkly lights above my bed (where I write because sitting at a desk drives me nuts), a diffuser that releases smelly good stuff into the air around me, and I’m almost always wearing a hoodie. I like to have grabbable snacks that won’t get on my laptop within reach, and I love having the lights out while I write (it lets the twinkly ones create mood lighting, lol). Basically, the better and isolated the atmosphere, the better I write because it makes escaping into these different worlds that much easier.

What are your hopes for the future?

My hopes for the future include short- and long-term goals. Fully attainable goals as well as best-case scenario goals. Short term, I hope to finish up book 2 within the next few weeks to have it ready for release in April, as well as building up a community in my Facebook group. Long term, I hope to become a USA Today or NYT best-selling author or to see one of those orange tags on Amazon next to my name. And even if those are hefty aspirations, a girl can dream, right? Really, what it comes down to is that I want to tell all the stories that are swirling around in my head and even the new ones that pop up on almost a daily basis.

Do you have any advice for new authors about the publishing world?

I’m still a baby author, and I’ll probably never know everything about this business, but I’ve learned a few things that might help others: Just go at your own pace and stay true to who you are, writing what you want to write. Don’t let others tell you what you should be writing, only you know the stories you want to tell. Sometimes, going hard and writing fast is excellent, but there are also times when letting the story ruminate can lead to some of your best ideas. Don’t underestimate the importance of cover art and editing! And lastly, get organized. I am not usually a very organized person, but when I started writing this series, it was painfully apparent that I needed some way to keep track of not only all the things I had going on in my schedule, but also just to keep the story correct, and on track. With a series, there are a ton of small details in those pages that readers will know by heart. You don’t want to be three books in and get somebody’s hair color wrong, lol.

Do you have anything to say to your readers?

Yes! I’ve got a lot planned out for you, and I can’t wait to hear what you think. Also, I freaking love you guys! You’ve given me so much encouragement and love, it makes my heart swell! You guys are what make it possible for me to keep writing and living this dream I didn’t think I was good enough for, and for that, I will never, ever be able to thank you enough for taking a chance on this baby author! But I’ll forever keep trying anyway: Thank you so very much!

Author T.B. Man #interview

Please give a warm welcome to

Tell us a bit about yourself

Hi. I’m Twilah and I write as TB Mann. I’m a wife and mother of three adult children. I love to say that I’ve got mermaid blood in my background as I come alive in sea air. A nice warm beach, a good book, watching a hockey game, or just traveling are my happy places. It’s even better when my husband is by my side.

Have you always wanted to become an author?

I didn’t always think that I wanted to be an author, but one day while helping my mother clean out some old papers I found a school day keepsake keeper that she made. Right from kindergarten one of my career goals was to be an author. So, I guess it was a dream that was forgotten for a period of time.

What was your inspiration for your current book/series?

I have many inspirations for various series. For my hockey series, the inspiration was my love of hockey and the fact that despite all the work the NHL does with the JGBTQ+ community, it is the only professional sport within North America that does not have an openly LGBTQ+ player. For my rodeo series (on Wattpad, but soon to be published), my inspiration came from a mother-daughter weekend trip I took with my daughter along with some questions I’d been wrestling with.

What are you working on now?

Currently I’m working on a couple of secret project books for various shared worlds. I’m also working on a taboo, student/teacher, age gap, MMMF romance series.

Do you have any quirks while working?

I would love to say no, but I’m sure I do. Lol I tend to write with the TV on, but can’t with music. At least music with lyrics since I can block out people speaking on TV, but can’t seem to block out song lyrics.

What are your hopes for the future?

My hopes for the future is just to continue to touch lives through my writing. I love it when I hear from readers who’ve identified with a character or scenario, who’ve said that what I wrote spoke to them.

Do you have any advice for new authors about the publishing world?

My advice to new authors is to just keep writing. You can’t publish something that is unfinished. And with each book, your skills with writing will grow. A successful career is a long career so you are working the long game.

Do you have anything to say to your followers?

My readers are everything. I’m so grateful that they willingly share their valuable time with me. It humbles me to know that they love my characters as much as I do, that the stories aren’t just my crazed ramblings on paper, but are real to them. Without them, I would be lost in my head, stuck in my daydreams.

Author Lux Carmine #interview

Please give a warm welcome to

Tell us a bit about yourself

I am a self-published author who has been publishing since 2015. Lux Carmine is one of my many pen names and I write enjoy writing all types of romances. I live just outside of Richmond, Virginia with my two cats and my two daughters. We recently became obsessed with K-dramas and we watch them together on the weekends.

Have you always wanted to become an author?

No. In my “first life” I was actually a preschool teacher, then a middle school teacher. But I have been reading romance since I was 11 (I learned real quick that females should ALWAYS have orgasms) and I’ve been writing romances since I was 13. Going to age myself a little here but I was always in the AOL roleplaying chatrooms after school. I never did fight scenes, I was there for the romance. 🙂

What are you working on now?

I’m actually co-writing a book with a friend of mine, Riley Long. She writes M/M romance and I haven’t written one of those and I thought heck! Why not??

What was your inspiration for your current book?

I was flipping through Better Homes and Gardens or something like that this past summer and saw this article about these two men who were florists in upstate New York or something like that. I ripped the article out and gave it to my author friend, Riley, and I said “YOU MUST DO THIS!” And now I’m writing one in her series with her. It has a friends to lovers trope which I adore.

Do you have any quirks while working?

I must be facing a wall when I’m writing. If I can see anything at all it distracts me too much and pulls me out of my story. I wish I could be a coffee shop writer but that’s just not me.

What are your hopes for the future?

I hope that my books are discovered and loved by people who need them. My goal as an author is to entertain and to touch the hearts of my readers.

Do you have any advice for new authors about the publishing world

New authors — Keep writing! Keep trying! Don’t give up hope if your first book doesn’t make the NY Times Best Seller List. And don’t quit your day job maybe until you do. It’s a tough market and it’s getting tougher every day. Publishing is not a get rich quick scheme so make sure you have a different motivation to write other than money.

Do you have anything to say to your followers?

To my followers, I am so thankful for you. I know that if I’m having a really shitty day, a horrible incident or just read a bad review I can count on all of you to lift me back up. I hope my books are able to do the same for you. I love you all! ❤
