Have you always wanted to be a PA?
I have always loved the idea of working as an assistant, but it wasn’t until recently that I found my true passion for being a personal assistant for authors. I have always been an avid reader so being able to not only support those authors but keep the chaos of their lives to a minimum is a perfect fit. The satisfaction of pulling off everything from a book release party to organizing the details of a book signing trip is unmatched. So while I haven’t always wanted to be a personal assistant for authors, I am so glad that I found this perfect fit.
What do you do as a PA?
I do many things. My main thing is to help keep authors fix their Chaos.
What do you do as a PA?
As a PA, my responsibilities are numerous. My main job is to fix the chaos of being an author and keep them sane! Lol. I think that each experience is different but I focus on creating teams of individuals to promote and push forward authors on their current projects, organize their goals moving forward, and keeping them motivated.
Do you have any quirks while working?
Yes, I have spreadsheets to organize spreadsheets
What are your hopes for the future?
To work with more authors and to help my authors grow and be successful.
Do you have any advice for new PA’s?
Build a relationship with other PA’s around you it is always great to share tricks and have someone who you can lean on for help if you are not sure how to do something.
Are you available for new work or booked solid?
I am available for new work.
