Tell us a bit about yourself

We are a Mother/Daughter Writing duo from a tiny town in Missouri. We write Post-apocalyptic RH romcom and YA Paranormal RomCom. We currently have 10 books out at the moment!

Have you always wanted to become an author?

(C’s answer)

I think I first wanted to become an author around age 12 or so, I’ve always been a major book nerd so becoming an author was just a given

(V’s Answer)

No, I wanted to be independently wealthy. C made me become an author.

What was your inspiration for your current book/series?

Our biggest inspiration… Probably the Zombie/apocalypse trend that’s going around right now. It got us thinking about how the end of the world would really happen and then we tossed a RH element into it because RH is one of our favorite genres.

What are you working on now?

We are currently working on Low Life at the End of the World, book 2 in our Preppers series. It is a Post-Apocalyptic RH Romcom with a little bit of road trip fun thrown in!
We’ll include the cover and a teaser of Low Life for you.

Do you have any quirks while writing?

(C’s Answer)

Quirks… Well I need like total silence when writing or my brain can’t concentrate. Also. I need snack foods, Sour patch kids, gummy bears, chocolate. Give me all the sweets!!

(V’s answer)

I need snacks as well, cinnamon bears, hot tamales, ect. And quiet, which is a rarity in our house!

What are your hopes for the future?

We hope that when the world ends, we find a nice big fully stocked prepper Compound like our girl Toni!

Do you have any advice for new authors about the publishing world?

Get Good at grammar, don’t expect an editor to be able to fix all your mistakes. And do your research starting out! When your looking for an editor or formatter and type that in to google, don’t use the first ones that pop up. Find one that’s decently affordable and good at their job. Check reviews and read books that the editor has done!
Also, have original ideas. Don’t ever be a copycat.
