Tell us a bit about yourself
I am a child at heart, at least that’s how my family always likes to describe me. My friends call me cooky, or the energizer bunny when I get excited. I say that I’m an awkward introvert.

Have you always wanted to become an author?
As to wanting to be an author: I have always wanted to write, at least from the 4th grade. I remember writing an essay on what I wanted to be when I grew up. I put down that I wanted to go to Harvard to become a writer. Haha. A few decades later and a degree from community college later, I’ve published my first book.

What was your inspiration for your current book/series?
The Ghost Dud Series came to me a few years ago out of nowhere after I visited a supposed haunted bar. The characters just continue to grow as I write it.

What are you working on now?
I recently finished my second book that I co-wrote with my best friend. It’s in the editors hands now. It’ll be published on my birthday, December 20th. I’m also writing the second Ghost Dud book.

Do you have any quirks while writing?
Quirks….do you mean like I have to have a lemonade at least once a day when I’m writing? Nope, not at all.
°
What are your hopes for the future?
Hopes for the future. That’s a loaded question. I would love to continue writing. It’d be amazing if I could do this as a full time thing rather than on my days off. Writing is something that makes me feel completed.

Do you have any advice for new authors about the publishing world?
My advice is do your research. I’m still learning. It’s not easy. This is a second job. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. Interact with readers, that’s always so much fun.

Do you have anything to say to your readers?
Thank you so much for supporting me. I really hope that you enjoy my books. It means the world to me when someone says they’ve enjoyed my book. I’ve loved every single one of my reviews, even if they weren’t that great because it makes me want to improve!
