Please give a warm welcome to

Tell us a bit about yourself

Hi Y’all! (Yes I’m southern)y name is KC Morgan and I am a brand new author. When I’m not lost in the world of books, I can be found chasing after my two amazing kiddos. I have a son who is 9 and does martial arts with me (he does jujitsu, I do kickboxing) and my little girl is 6 am9d was born with CHD. She is my little hero and an amazingly strong heart warrior. I have more pets than I want to admit and I love to paint as well, mostly abstracts.

Have you always wanted to become an author?

When I was little, 5th grade, I wrote my first story. It was for an english assignment and while most of the class just wrote a quick tale, I made a whole chapter book with pictures. So I guess it started for me even back then amd continued into high school with poetry and short stories. But I lost the drive somewhere along the way and it was only this year that I decided to try again.

°

What was your inspiration for your current book/series?

I love sci-fi, always have amd I have recently read so many amazing books in that genre that I wanted to try it, even if no one but me ever reads it.

°

What are you working on now?

My first book, The Indarian’s Ghost, is scheduled to release this month and I am already beginning a spin off from the same universe. I am also working on a Halloween anthology story and a dark dystopian rh.

°

Do you have any quirks while writing?

Music. I plug in my headphones and tune in to my rock playlist. For each different type of scene I write, I correlate it with a different song. So if I am writing a fight scene, its heavy and hard, love scene, slow and sweet or hot and hard depending on the type.

°

°

What are your hopes for the future?

Hopes for the future….that’s a tough one. I guess I would say that I hope that people enjoy my books and that I can write the kind of stories people will remember and want to read again.

°

Do you have any advice for new authors about the publishing world?

Don’t do it alone. I don’t mean hire a publisher, but at least join an author help group where you can find answers or advice. Also, a PA helps, so much with all the extra things that come with publishing a book. There is so much more to it than just writing a story.

°

Do you have anything to say to your readers?

I love you all and I am so grateful for your support. I love the world of books and I am so glad that I can share my dreams with all of you.
