I am an Aussie writer. I live in a little town called Toowoomba with my 19 year old son and my husband. I hold three degrees. One in psychology. One in creative writing, and one in publishing.

Have you always wanted to become an author?
Yes, I’ve always wanted to be a writer.

What was your inspiration for your current book/series?
The inspiration for my current series was watching a demolition derby.

What are you working on now?
I’m working on the second book, which is about Amanda’s sister, Mia and her harem.

Do you have any quirks while writing?
No, I don’t have many quirks when I’m writing, other than needing complete silence. At times, I listen to meditation music.

What are your hopes for the future?
My hopes for the future is to reach as many readers as possible, and also, I’m a feminist. I hope that one day women may truly be equal to men.

Do you have any advice for new authors about the publishing world?
I talk to new authors everyday as I also edit. My advice is to look at the reality of the publishing landscape. You need an iron will and a thick skin to operate in a market with wafer-thin profit margins. Get your marketing systems up and running before you launch. Publishing is an art, but it’s also a business, and one without the other will result in failure. I also encourage them, obviously, to get a qualified editor.

Do you have anything to say to your readers?
To my readers, I don’t know what I’d do without you. The little responses I get over the email and in my reader group keep me motivated to keep going. For me, it’s all about writing for my readers, who turn into friends. I often get to the point where I am scared shitless of disappointing them. Being a writer is a hard life, and it’s not for everyone, but for those who have the calling, it is totally worthwhile.
