Tell us a bit about yourself

I’m a mother of 3 girls and work a day job. I have 2 dogs, chickens, horses and a husband. When I’m not adulting I’m reading or writing.

Have you always wanted to become an author?

Actually, no. I used to hate reading or writing, unless it was music. It wasnt until I found the RH community that I really started to enjoy reading. A couple of years later, I decided to write my own story and have never been happier.

What was your inspiration for your current book/series?

I love horses and I love dragons. I was looking for a shifter book with horses and couldnt find any! So, I decided I’d write one-something completely different then everything out there. The characters took on lives of their own amd suddenly I had Pegasi, Dragons, Panthers, Mermen, Hawks and so mamy other shifters!

What are you working on now?

Oh boy.
Well, Im working on The Heart of Edarus Book 2. Im also working on a For Horsewomen cowrite with some amazing women.

Theres an antho I’m writing for Halloween.
I have other evil plans to branch out into paranormal and contemporary in the future.

Do you have any quirks while writing?

Coffee or whiskey. I must write with one of them. Also, I talk to the characters, all the time. My family thinks I’m crazy…. I’ve told them I was several times. You think they’d learn?

What are your hopes for the future?

I would love to become a full time author and travel.

Do you have any advice for new authors about the publishing world?

Find a small group of authors and have each others backs. Ask questions, lots of them. Be open-minded, be kind, and HAVE FUN.

Its easy to forget you love to write when your trying to juggle editors, designers, betas, arcs, all the author pages for Bookbib, FB, Insta, etc.

Do you have anything to say to your readers?

OMG, my readers are my everything. You guys are what keeps me going in this crazy endeavor. All the havoc in the readers group to help motivate me and make me laugh. All of the kind messages and the reviews you leave. 😍😍
