Author CY Jones #interview

Please give a warm welcome to authorTell us a bit about yourselfI’m a single mom of three. Two girls and one boy. I served in the U.S Army for a little over eleven years before getting out and moving to South Carolina. I’m both American and Brit and I’ve lived all over the world.°Have you always wanted to become an author? When I was younger I always wrote short stories. It wasn’t until I was going through a bad patch in my life that I decided to set the goal of becoming an author and publishing a book.°°What was your inspiration for your current book/series?My muses came to me one day screaming in my head until I started to listen to them and write down what they were showing me. The first book I finished writing isn’t the first book I’m publishing. It’ll be published later in my spin-off series°°What are you working on now?I’m actually working on book two to my Out For Blood Series and editing through the first book to my spin-off series.°Do you have any quirks while writing? No unless you count that I don’t plot at all. Everything is written straight from my head. I may write down certain detail because my memory is crap, but that’s about it.°°What are your hopes for the future?I hope that people will see my vision. I put my heart and soul in my characters and their like family. I have signed up for Penned Conn 2020, so I’m excited to meet the many different authors I see as role models.°°Do you have any advice for new authors about the publishing world?Just follow your heart. Don’t let others or yourself talk you out your dream. The road will be ruff and expensive, but the outcome is all worth it. Nothing worth while comes easy.°Do you have anything to say to your readers?I hope you guys enjoy Remy’s story and later Winter’s. Remy’s journey is dark, but it’s filled with so much emotion. I know we’re not supposed to have favorites, but she’s mines.°Buy linksAmazonAuthor linksFacebookInstagramGoodreadsCY’s Chaos Cove°Blog updated April 16th °
