Tell us a bit about yourself

I’m a wife for almost 18 years now! I have 3 beautiful but ornery girls. I love books and writing them. I have a Supernatural, Harry Potter and Captain America obsession. Other then that I’m boring.

Have you always wanted to become an author?
°
I have always loved writing and people always told me I was good at it. About a year and half ago, I stumbled onto AK Koonce and the indie word and decided that I would give it a try.
What was your inspiration for your current book/series?
°
I just released my last book in my creeper saga in March. I wasn’t sure where I wanted to start so I did a mash up. It’s Walking Dead meets Fae.
My next project coming is a Sleeping Beauty retelling, it’s always been my favorite Disney movie.

What are you working on now?
I just started my short for the pirate anthology, Abandon Hope.

Do you have any quirks while writing?
I watch TV as I write, I love the background noise.

What are your hopes for the future?
To be a successful author and show my girls that no matter how old you are, if you keep pushing you can achieve it.

Do you have any advice for new authors about the publishing world?
Don’t give up, this community isn’t as savage as you were lead to believe. I have a great support system and it’s only increasing in size.
