Tell us a bit about yourself
My name is Rebecca Royce. I’ve been a published author for ten years and I write across all genres of romance. I am also a wife, mother, animal lover, theater addict, and hater of airplanes but lover of travel. Thanks for having me today.
Have you always wanted to become an author?
I wrote my first book in 4th grade. I really couldn’t imagine doing anything else. I tried but the truth is when writing is in your soul its what you do.
What was your inspiration for your current book/series?
I’m not sure where Kiss Her Goodbye came from exactly. I was sort of thinking one day about conspiracy theories, the idea of secret organizations running thing, Illuminati. Maybe my kids were watching YouTube videos and the idea was sort of born.
What are you working on now?
I’m writing the last book in the Kiss Her Goodbye series, Deadly Truths.
Do you have any quirks while writing?
I don’t think so.
What are your hopes for the future?
I’d like to keep writing and have more readers discover my work. I’d like to continue to be able to do this and to do it even better.
Do you have any advice for new authors about the publishing world?
You need to treat this like a job. Write every day. Devote time and energy to it.
