Today I have the pleasure of presenting Clash by Charity Parkerson. She was also kind to answer some questions for me. Please give her a warm welcome.
How did you get started writing?
I had a reoccurring dream that wouldn’t leave me alone until I wrote it down. Once I did, it continued growing until it became this entire underground black ops series. I haven’t stopped writing since.
°
What genre do you prefer to write/read?
I prefer to write M/M romance. That’s my happy place. I love to read historical romance.
°
°
What inspires you?
Everything. I’m an observer, and a bit of an introvert. I watch and listen. Sometimes, it takes the tiniest thing to spark an entire story in me.
°
What are you working on now?
I’m currently working on the 4th book in my “Hellish”series. It’s a M/M paranormal series, filled with vampires, demons, and all other manner of creatures.
°
°
What are your future plans?
I hope to keep writing as much as possible. Last year, I got all my rights back from Ellora’s Cave, so while those book were re-releasing, I had time to get ahead on my current releases. I have a few books sitting on my desktop, waiting for their turn for release. In the meantime, I’m still plugging along. One of my plans is to start a new MMA series.
°
Tell me three things that is not commonly known about you.
I spontaneously burst into song.
I hate Chinese food.
My second career love is designing book covers.

Blurb
Michael let Gavin keep him a secret once. Never again.
In high school, Michael and Gavin were total opposites. Michael was scholarly while Gavin was the athlete. Gavin chased all the girls and tormented Michael for being gay. Michael endured Gavin’s public taunts with grace, because he knew the truth—he was the relationship Gavin really wanted. That is, until Gavin went too far and pushed Michael away for good.
It’s been years since they’ve seen each other, but not much has changed. Gavin is still the athlete, playing for a minor-league hockey team. Michael still hates him. But fate loves a good laugh, and the pair end up stranded together during a flood. Things heat up fast, but can they survive more secrets or will Gavin finally destroy Michael for good?
